Dear, Friends

Thank you so much for reading our newsletter and praying for the first women that God has for us to minister to. We are receiving applications and close to having our first women.

The Allocation Committee in consultation with the Board of Directors for the United Way of Parker County has approved Sanctified Hope Home for Women for a grant to fund our new and innovative program which meets a high priority need of the community. The $2500 will be used to purchase curriculum for our education program. Thank you United Way. You are making a great difference here in Parker County.

We have beautiful new flower beds! Thank you, Wesley of Duvall Landscape. Also Master Gardener, Gay Larson, is designing a plan to fill them with lovely plants and shrubs in September. Thank you Gay. We will also be planting in September, the 4 trees that have been donated through our Father’s Day promotion.

EPC Ribbon Cutting

East Parker County hosted a ribbon cutting for us in July. Thank you to everyone who came to support us. Janet was able to share about Sanctified Hope and our mission with the people who attended. We have been widely accepted by Parker County.

We now have a donation box inside Iron Skillet at Petro. Items needed are paper goods, toiletries and cleaning supplies. Feel free to drop items off anytime you are near there. There is a specific list located on the box. You can also buy some of our needs on our registry at Bed, Bath, and Beyond, and drop them off there also. We are registered under Sanctified Hope. Thank you Iron Skillet for helping us.

9th Annual Healthy Woman Anniversary and Health Expo held at Southwest Ford, 3000 Ft. Worth Hwy. 76087

Come by Sanctified Hope’s table and sign up for a great give away to be given to one blessed person.

Weatherford Regional Hospital’s Healthy Women Group is putting together this expo to educate women and provide support for healthy living.

From the Executive Director

July and August have been busy. The months fly by with a whirlwind of duties, activities and blessings. From speaking to women’s groups at churches, the Rotary Club of Weatherford, Lion’s Club and Knights of Columbus and Parole and Probation officers, we have shared Sanctified Hope. All are in agreement, Sanctified Hope will benefit Parker County as well as our nearby counties of Tarrant and Palo Pinto.

Recidivism (ex-offenders going back to jail) is a major issue across our nation and in our local area. The current statistics show that 68 % of individuals are re-arrested in 3 years and by the end of the first year 57% of women are re-incarcerated. However, Sanctified Hope can help to change those outcomes. It has been documented that ex-offenders who go through a 12 month program similar to Sanctified Hope will not go back to prison. They will become a productive member of society who gets a job, pays their taxes, may create new businesses, and return to their family to make healthy changes. Which of these do you want as your future neighbor; an ex-offender who is destined to return to prison, or a graduate of Sanctified Hope?

If your phone rings, and a friend, business associate, neighbor or friend from church confides in you that their female loved one is being released from incarceration, tell them about Sanctified Hope. Give them our Facebook Page- Sanctified Hope Home for Women, or our Educate your world about Sanctified Hope.

Please pray for the Board of Directors, Staff and Volunteers at Sanctified Hope as we encourage our program participants to SEE LIFE FROM GOD’S VIEW.

“ Do not conform your yourselves to the standards of this world, but let God transform you inwardly by a complete change of your mind. Then you will be able to know the will of God.” Romans 12:2
