August 2017

insertWe started out the month with our Funday Sunday and Prisoner of Hope Motorcycle Ministries ladies. They came and stayed for the weekend in our 104 Duplex. They shared their testimonies, had fellowship and then they washed our participant’s feet. What a humbling experience for all who were involved. Thank you Prisoners of Hope Motorcycle Ladies! God Bless You!

insertThe Ooh La La Fall Fashion Show was a hit! We had approximately 100 ladies in attendance and it was just the perfect amount. Our Sanctified Hope Participants, Board members and volunteers sure had a good time modeling. Kathryn Jordon won the raffle for the cruise. Thank you to Rachel Lykins and Integrity Travel along with everyone else who donated clothing, door prizes and their services.

insertJessica received a full scholarship from Cal Farley’s Boy’s Ranch to attend Weatherford College. She just completed her first day of classes. Deana also received a full scholarship from the Texas Workforce Solutions to attend Weatherford College, the Mineral Wells Campus, to get her certificate in Welding. She starts classes on October 3!!!! Congratulations Ladies!!!

insertJessica started working at a therapeutic riding stables called Stars and Strides. She works approximately 20 hours a week on top of going to school and doing the program here at Sanctified Hope. She is also going to be starting in the Jobs For Life program at Center of Hope starting on September 11. Time management is a must with a schedule like hers!

Another month has come and gone already! Whew! It seems like these days just fly by! We have been so busy getting the ladies ready for school and preparing them for their jobs. Financial Peace Classes have started and they have moved onto a new study, Boundaries, with their mentors.

We are expecting at least 6 more women in the next 2 months. Please be in prayer for them and for a smooth transition for all involved. With the ladies starting school, getting jobs and more women coming, we are in need of an automobile. If anyone has a dependable car that they no longer need and would like to bless Sanctified Hope with it, we would love to talk to you!

As I write this, I have to mention all of the help that our North Texans are giving to the victims of Hurricane Harvey. I personally have 2 sons and daughter in laws, and 2 grandsons living in the Houston area. One of my sons and his wife had to be evacuated. Thank the Lord for all of the volunteers that are there and getting ready to go! Please keep them in your prayers.

Lastly, please don’t forget about North Texas Giving Day on September 14, 2017. Follow the instructions above and look for us and DONATE! You can go to search and type in Sanctified Hope, or go to housing and shelter. We can not continue this ministry without your help! Thank you for all of your support and God Bless You!

Love in Christ,

How can you be a blessing to Sanctified Hope?

It costs $300 per month to house a lady at Sanctified Hope. Scholarship opportunities are available. Most of the ladies that come are not able to pay. If you would like to sponsor one lady for one month, or for six months, we would be so grateful!
