We started off the Month with Sunday Funday! This was a very special occasion for our ladies. We did something different…we had a family day! God is on the move and doing mighty things! Families are being restored and reconciled. We had 2 former participants come and share what God did for them and showed them while they were at Sanctified Hope and Kim added fun to the day by playing all kinds of fun games. Thank you, Lord, for restoration.
Our ladies are taking the DNA of Relationships class. It is teaching them how to have not only healthy male/female relationships, but all relationships. Thank you, Donny and Marsha, for teaching this important class.
One of our ladies, Shasta, has graduated from the Center of Hope’s Jobs for Life Class. We are proud to partner with Center of Hope. They provide many different opportunities for our women and the community of Parker County. Great Job Shasta and Thank you Center of Hope!
Our Church of the month was Christ Chapel West. Christ Chapel has given in so many ways to our ministry. They have had small groups come out and help with all of the outside work, decorate different rooms and even wash windows. The sermon was all about serving. The ladies were so excited to come back and spend time with the Lord seeing where He wants them to serve. Thank you Christ Chapel West for all of your support!
We would like to thank First Financial Bank for coming out on President’s Day and doing yard work and landscaping at Sanctified Hope!
Every quarter the Glory Class from North Side Baptist Church asks us what our needs are and they come bearing gifts. We are so thankful for people that have a giving heart and want to bless us with needs. Thank you so much, Wanda and the Glory Class!
The highlight of our month was Elizabeth’s graduation from Sanctified Hope! It was truly a special event. Approximately 125 people came out to show their support for her. Elizabeth is staying on at Sanctified Hope in a different capacity…she is now the paid house manager who lives on-site. What an awesome opportunity for her and our women who come to us. She can really say to the participants, “I know how you feel”. It is really comforting for someone who is going through a situation to have someone that understands what they are going through. Congratulations Elizabeth! We love you!
