How to become a Sanctified Hope Volunteer

Our volunteers help empower and guide formerly incarcerated women through a Christ-based ministry to inspire lifelong changes and become successful citizens of the community.

Step 1: Submit Interest Form

Tell us a little about yourself and we will follow-up to discuss questions you have and possible volunteer areas that are a match for you.

Step 2: Complete Orientation and Volunteer Application

Learn about Sanctified Hope, our mission, history, values, and the different aspects of our programs. Orientation can be in-person or online.  Schedule Orientation by emailing volunteers@sanctifiedhope.org and complete the Volunteer Application.

Step 3: Training / Rotation

Attend our Basic Training Workshop and tour our facility. Additional training may be required for specific roles.  This step is completed by coming a couple times to get familiar with our programs through a rotation in different areas like the office, attending a class, or working on a project.  This helps assist with placement in an area that’s a good match for you.

FAQ

Who Can Volunteer?

We have opportunities to engage Men, Women, and Groups! Candidates under age 18 have special considerations. Our volunteers help with events, outside areas, program elements, life skills, office help, crafts, mentors, and more.

Can I volunteer once a month or as my schedule allows?

We have shifts and roles that are flexible for all types of schedules: weekly, regular recurring, occasional, and one-time opportunities.  A few roles can be done evenings or weekends.  Our Volunteer Job Descriptions (See Above) show the time commitment needed for each role.

Can I complete hours for community service or school programs?

Yes. These have limited availability. Fill out the Interest Form [link to form at top of page] and indicate that you are interested in earning hours with us.

Do you have opportunities that are not done at Sanctified Hope?

Yes. Several roles can be done off-site: Prayer Team, Item Donation Drive, and a variety of other projects. Please fill out the Interest Form [link to form at top of page] and indicate that you are looking for opportunities that are not located off-site.
