Sweet September

The month started out with a great day of fellowship on Labor Day.  We had the opportunity to go to Texas Star Ranch and swim, relax and have a barbeque.  Janet and Sharon even had an underwater hand standing contest!  Thank you Lady B for allowing us the use of your facility!

A couple of our ladies were blessed by the “I Am” tribe.  They were able to go to a retreat at Lake Granbury.  They were filled up and loved every minute of the time they had.  Thank you “I Am” ladies for pouring out your blessings.

Christ Chapel West was our church of the month for us.  It was my first time visiting it as well.  Everyone made us feel very welcome and the service showed their vision for 2020!  Thank you Christ Chapel West for all you do for Sanctified Hope!

Sanctified Hope had two women come home!  First, Felicia.  Felicia has been waiting for a long time to come to Sanctified Hope.  Felicia’s favorite color is purple and she loves to work in the garden.

Swanietra (aka, Nene), is our second lady to come home to Sanctified Hope.  God is a God of grace and Sanctified Hope showed “Nene” grace by letting her come back and start the program over.  Nene was at Sanctified Hope for 3 months, however, in March, she thought she wanted to transfer to a program that was closer to her family.  She realized that she made a mistake and asked to come back.  We are so happy to have her back with us.  She is ready to do some business and let God do GREAT things with her!

First United Methodist Church made Sanctified Hope its mission of the month.  The collected all kinds of hygiene products and toilet paper along with a check!  Thank you so much brothers and sisters in Christ!

Our Volunteer of the Month is Gail Arnold!  Gail has been a mentor and now she teaches our class, “Making Peace With Your Past”.  Gail is wonderful with our ladies.  She is married and loves to travel with her husband, Michael.  She is retired and attends Trinity Bible Church.  Thank you for all of your support for Sanctified Hope!  We love you Gail!

Our Mission

Sanctified Hope is a Christian based nonprofit transitional program which offers Christ-centered training and support. Our mission is to provide an environment in which formerly incarcerated or hurting individuals have the opportunity to experience the unconditional love of Jesus Christ.

Our Belief

For the grace of God has appeared that offers salvation to all people. It teaches us to say “No” to ungodliness and worldly passions, and to live self-controlled, upright’ and godly lives in this present age, while we wait for the blessed hope- the appearing of the glory of our great God and Savior, Jesus Christ.
Titus 2:11-13
