March – In Like a Lamb and Out like a LION!
The “old” saying that “March comes in like a Lion and out like a Lamb”, was totally the opposite of what happened at Sanctified Hope! Let’s start with the “out” part first…Our Roundup was such a SUCCESS!!!! YOU, our supporters, made it that way! We sold out of tickets! The food from Chuckwagon Cuisine was excellent! The entertainment from Justin Todd Herrod was superb! Our MC, Van Houser, was his normal entertaining self and the auctioneering from Brent Baker was done with precision and awareness of our mission! The ladies from Sanctified Hope who shared what God had been doing in their lives along with performing the amazing skit, were spot on. Thank you, Clint Brewer, for your participation in the skit!
Thank you to Pat Deen who so graciously agreed to be the one to be put behind bars, Craig Towson and John Forrest who prosecuted and Sheriff Fowler who even got some deputies involved in the whole “game”. What fun we had. God certainly showed up and showed out!!
Sanctified Hope has Celebrate Recovery in our home for our ladies and also for any women in the community. It is held every Wednesday at 6:30. If you have any questions, or would like the address of where we hold it, please call our office at 817-901-5446. Thank you Melissa and Kimberly who facilitate this class!
One of the reasons the women end up in prison is because of the dysfunction in their families, or trauma that happened to them. Sanctified Hope has been blessed with the opportunity for our women to participate in Trauma Healing. Each week, Elaine comes to our home and holds the class. The Gathering at Brock told us about her and it has been life changing for our women! Thank you Elaine and The Gathering!
The Gathering was our March Church of the Month! What an incredible time of worship and teaching! Pastor Jesse, you are definitely anointed! God Bless you and your team!
Sunday Funday weekend was spent at the IF Conference at Trinity Bible Church. Thank you TBC for allowing our ladies to attend! Each of them felt the Spirit there and learned so much! It’s also allowing them to meet new women in our community who will help to mentor them in their spiritual walk.
