“He Will Satisfy My Soul…”

“For I will satisfy the weary soul, and every languishing soul I will replenish.”
Jeremiah 31:25Our Fashion Show is ONE WEEK away! We still have some tickets available! We have a wonderful speaker this year and we are so excited for you to get to hear from Dr. Renea Skelton! Also, our Emcee is none other than the fabulous SPETEPMBER JAMES! You may have gotten to meet her at our RUMBLE in the spring, and she is back to liven up the party and help keep us all together. So grab a group of friends, get your Sunday School group together and join us for a morning to remember!

REGISTERWE NEED YOUR HELP!
SOW INTO THE FUTURE OF SANCTIFIED HOPE!!

We are less than $12,000 away!!! But we still need more to complete the fundraising for this project of the Educational Building Add-On. This new addition will give us a new classroom with a more intimate setting, a private counseling room, a small storage room, and  3 new offices. Please consider making a one time donation over and above your normal giving to be able to help us reach this goal. We fully believe that God called us to take this step to begin this building so we know He will provide, but we also KNOW that He uses His people in His Kingdom to provide. It starts with YOU!

GIVE NOWWe kicked off August with a wonderful Sunday Fun Day! Our friend September with Mary Kay Cosmetics came to help pamper the ladies and teach them how to use the fantastic new skincare line of products donated to them by an anonymous donor. She showed them the proper way to get their face ready for the evenings, the best practices for using the Mary Kay charcoal masks (as you can see in the pictures), and just overall had an amazing time!

We were so thankful for the opportunity to have a Fundraising Event with BOHO SNOCO to be able to raise money for our new building add-on! A BIG SHOUT OUT TO Lyndsie Montgomery of BOHO SNOCO and to our celebrity sno-tender, our Advisory Board Member Tammy Rokus for making it happen! It was hot, but our ladies and staff were troopers to get out and hold up signs to bring people in.

Our ladies were blessed to be able to model in the Zonta of Parker County Show and Bags to Go Event this past month! They had such a blast and were so loved on by the community. Check out some of the great poses and fashion from the best resale shop in town, The Hope Chest!
At the end of August, we had Chasdity join our family. We are excited she is here and can’t wait to get to know her better. Welcome to the Sanctified Hope Family, Chasdity!

We had 2 of our ladies just start school at Weatherford College. Misty and Brichette are some of the newest Coyotes in town! Join us in praying for them as they make this new transition!

August’s church of the month was New Faith Baptist Church in Annetta! We were blessed by a group of women from this church this past Christmas, but had never had the chance to attend before now. It was a joy-filled morning to be able to worship with them and share about Sanctified Hope! Thank you to New Faith Baptist for being such a wonderfully welcoming congregation!

Jeremiah 31:25Have you ever needed rest for your weary soul? Or just to be replenished? So many times when we think about resting, or taking some time for ourselves…in this busy world, for a lot of people that just looks like stopping the busyness. For some it looks like binge watching a Netflix series or spending all day in bed, while to others it means getting away from the every day like on a vacation.
You know, I have been battling some serious health situations with my heart lately due to my autoimmune diseases. During this time, I have been told by my doctors, by my friends and family how much I need to take care of myself and REST. I will admit, I have been weary – in my body and my soul – as I have been fighting this. But what I have learned the most is that an entire weekend in bed doesn’t come close to replenishing me the way a few hours away with the Lord does. This verse from Jeremiah talks about the promise from the Lord to satisfy and replenish our souls. There is something that the Lord can give us that no amount of sleep, or vacation, or even family time can give us – and it is because we are created to need it. It sustains us. HE sustains us. So as we are headed into fall with the new routines of school, and all that comes with that: fall sports, new bible study groups, work commitments, etc.; I encourage you to make sure to make time for the one that will satisfy your weary soul when you need it. Serving Him together,
